The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government has handed
over Seven (7) Pickup Double Cabins to support the implementation
of the Local Economic Growth Support (LEGS) Project in 10 Districts
of Alebtong, Bunyangabu, Gomba, Kabarole, Katakwi, Kibuku, Kumi,
Kyenjojo, Nakaseke and Ntoroko.
During a brief scientific ceremony held at the Ministry Headquarters
on Tuesday 27th October; Permanent Secretary Ben Kumumanya,
cautioned the Project Officers to exhibit Professionalism,
Efficiency and Accountability as Public Officers in the performance
of their duties. He emphasised that the vehicles handed over are
property of the Government of Uganda, to serve the people of Uganda.
